Melbourne has a proud manufacturing history and today still possesses diverse indistrial capabilities. We really care about keeping local industry thriving, so it has always been a priority for us to manufacture locally. As a result, our entire operation takes place in Melbourne.
Crafted with care
Making a product that lasts requires that care is put into its creation. From the initial design by us, through the machining, polishing and enamelling, it’s all local.
Having relationships with the people who bring our handles to life is extremely important for us, as their expertise and craft is vital in ensuring our handles are of the highest quality.
Responsible and adaptable
These direct relationships also allow for flexibility of production and consistency of lead times. Combining with local manufacture, using a made-to-order model is an additional advantage in these areas. It makes viable the wide range of finish and design combinations we have and will continue to add to; it allows us to offer bespoke colour to design professionals; and it enables us to scale production to meet demand.
The agility of this model is a core pillar of our operation, and forms a major part of our environmental commitment: to create a product that lasts, with low supply chain miles and as little waste as possible.
