Our story
Oltie is a family business founded with the goal of bringing more creativity to the world of door hardware. Handles are something we interact with every day, yet there’s surprisingly little choice when it comes to their design.
We wanted to change that. So, we got designing with the aim of doing something different. The result is a collection of playful, experimental shapes in all the colours of the rainbow, anchored by precision engineering and quality craftsmanship.
Both visual and tactile, door handles provide an excellent opportunity to express personality and extend a creative vision through every element of a design scheme. Fusing playfulness and timelessness, Oltie handles are designed to elevate the everyday.

Designed to last
We believe good design lasts a lifetime, and that includes materials. Our vitreous enamel finishes not only offer endless colour options but are phenomenally hard-wearing and lightfast.
Combined with stainless steel construction and a no-wobble mechanism, that means our handles will be bright and shiny, and lovely to use, for decades to come.
Sustainability
Our core principle of ‘design for life’ is the foundation of our approach to sustainability. We use recycled stainless steel that’s produced to enable more efficient machining, thereby reducing energy consumption.
Waste produced during the machining process is reclaimed and recycled, ensuring it re-enters the supply chain at its highest possible grade.
Combining these things with our made-to-order, scalable manufacturing model, we’re able to keep waste to an absolute minimum, creating an enduring end product with a lighter footprint.

Keeping manufacturing local was always a no-brainer for us — not just because we believe in local industry, but because it allows us to ensure the quality of our product and the viability of our made-to-order, small-batch manufacturing model.
